24 Days of Spice | Day 18 - White Pepper & Lemon

White Pepper & Lemon seasoning as a rub for portobello mushrooms.

This was the best part of my meal choices on Day 18. The seasoning was delightfully spicy and tangy.

I have previously made sorghum in a rice cooker (3:1 water:sorghum), but this time I added ½ cup of petite peas.

What I ended up with was a hard, crunchy side with slightly off-colored peas. Oops. The good news is the mushrooms were utterly delicious. And my garbage disposal appeared to enjoy the leftover sorghum.
