24 Days of Spice | Day 14 - Drakkar Salt

Day 14 is apparently the day of creativity. From what I can find, Drakkar Salt is not an actual thing.

Drakkar is either a “powerful, explosive” scent or a Viking ship. I’m assuming because of the smokey flavoring that they were going for the cologne. Interesting choice.

I went with a tofu scramble and breakfast potatoes, which need salt and are forgiving with flavors. Although this salt turned out to be not too bad.

For the tofu, I pressed it for about an hour and then crumbled it with a fork. I season my tofu loosely based on Bad Manners Kitchen. I don’t measure, but mix together garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, kala namak (adds the slight sulphur taste), nutritional yeast, and a splash of rice vinegar.

The veggies used up my leftover celery and zucchini plus some baby carrots.

Add everything to a pan with a bit of olive oil. Heat it through and soften the veggies to your liking.

I mixed in a healthy dose of Pace Picante sauce and served with a side of corn tortillas.
